    Dorothea Gensch, Front Desk
    Phone: 604-822-8660 / email: gc.reception@ubc.ca

Dorothea started at Green College in the summer of 2017. She has extensive experience working in investor/public relations and communications. Having worked with internal and external stakeholders in various industries, Dorothea appreciates the importance of clear and timely communications, and intends to expand her skill set by pursuing a Plain Language Certificate program in the near future. While she can’t take credit (that goes to Sydney J. Harris) for her favourite motto “The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows”, Dorothea enjoys supporting Green College’s many students and visitors of diverse backgrounds in their pursuit of knowledge. She is always quick to practice her fluent German language skills with visitors to the office and can get by in basic French and Spanish, using somewhat limited vocabulary - as well as hands and feet, if necessary.
