Green College Society Member (and current UBC PhD student) Karen Correia da Silva told CBC news that the recent UBC frosh chant incident triggered memories of an assault that occurred three years earlier at Ryerson University in Toronto. However, when she tried to get help, she was told that such services are only available in the province where the alleged crime occurred.
